Dun & Bradstreet is seeking a highly experienced Sales Specialist III to cultivate customer relationships, understand their business challenges, and identify opportunities where D&B solutions can provide value. This role is specifically aligned with the Third-Party Risk & Compliance Solutions business and requires extensive domain expertise in this industry.

Essential Key Responsibilities

  • Trusted Advisor: Act as a trusted advisor by deeply understanding customer business challenges, proactively addressing evolving needs, and making a lasting impact at the highest levels of business.
  • Account Development: Drive new account development and/or expand existing accounts through successful renewals, cross-selling, and up-selling new opportunities within an established portfolio of clients.
  • Solution Mapping: Map Dun & Bradstreet’s solutions to customer needs, demonstrating subject matter expertise and a deep understanding of how our solutions address specific business challenges.
  • Account Strategy: Contribute to account-specific strategy by identifying customer needs through meetings with key influencers and stakeholders across client organizations.
  • Product Demonstration: Demonstrate product capabilities, overcome objections, and create a customer-specific buying vision.
  • Drive Credibility: Utilize use case expertise and vertical experience to showcase compelling success stories that drive business outcomes for customers.
  • Feedback Loop: Act as a bridge between customers and product development teams, conveying feedback and insights to inform product enhancements and innovation.
  • Data Management: Maintain consistent and accurate data in SFDC to support territory, account planning, and forecasting.
  • Participation: Actively participate in Account Planning, Business Reviews, and Quarterly Solutions reviews as required.

Education and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (Required)
  • Experience: Minimum of 12 years of prior experience in selling new solutions and/or upselling existing solutions to clients, with a proven track record of generating significant revenue growth in a similar environment.
  • Assessment Skills: Ability to rapidly assess client environments from a business process, organizational, and technological perspective, and effectively prioritize opportunities for growth.
  • Sales Management: Demonstrable track record in managing complex sales and multiple senior stakeholders.
  • Communication Skills: Highly articulate with excellent business communication (verbal and written) skills and presentation skills suitable for a global corporate environment.
  • Technical Skills: Possesses excellent industry-leading sales methodology, Salesforce.com, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, and MS-Word skills.
  • Mindset: Demonstrates an ownership mindset, acts as a problem solver, is curious, inspired to take action, proactive, and seeks collaboration to drive success.
  • Growth Mindset: Possesses a continuous growth mindset, committed to learning through social experiences, relationships with stakeholders, experts, colleagues, and mentors, as well as through structural courses and programs.

Requirements

  • Ability to travel onsite to customers for business needs at least 40% of the time.

Compensation

  • Salary: $108,200 - $181,800 a year
  • This role is commission eligible.
