Procore is seeking a Commercial Solution Specialist, Financial Management to expand the Procore platform for strategic mid-size customers, focusing on their Financial products. The role involves acting as a product champion and subject matter expert for Procore’s financial offerings (Project Financials, Accounting Integrations, Invoice Management, and Pay), ensuring customers maximize value and achieve business performance gains. This position contributes to improving the lives of construction customers by connecting them on a global platform.

The ideal candidate will help organizations understand best practices in financial construction technology, its benefits, and leverage a consultative mindset and knowledge of the construction industry and Procore’s software to recommend financial product solutions. Collaboration with Sales, Customer Engineering, PS, Support, Product, and Marketing teams is essential. Passion for construction and technology is highly valued.

This position can be remote, or based at Procore's headquarters in Carpinteria, CA, or Austin, TX office.

Responsibilities

  • Function as the Financial Management Subject Matter Expert for aligned account management teams.
  • Collaborate with account teams to identify Financial Management cross-sell opportunities within the existing enterprise customer base.
  • Partner with the primary Account Manager and CSE on account strategy and product enablement to effectively position and sell the Financial Management product suite, driving customer attaches to meet product-specific ARR targets.
  • Work collaboratively with the Account Manager and Customer Success Engineer to drive product adoption and mitigate churn.
  • Provide customers with periodic updates on product capabilities, benefits, use cases, and translated customer value.
  • Provide visibility into Financial Management performance, forecasts, and attach rates to assist sales leadership in planning for ARR targets.
  • Continuously pursue and increase knowledge of key competitors to effectively communicate Procore's value proposition.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated successful software sales experience, preferably B2B.
  • Experience using a consultative, solution-based sales methodology is desired.
  • Proven record of success in an inside sales and/or outside sales-based selling model.
  • Ability to communicate effectively via telephone and email with customers.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Ability to develop trusted relationships.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and online collaboration tools.
  • Experience selling technical products.
  • Experience selling construction products and/or financial or fintech products is highly preferred.
  • Experience with CRM and opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce.com.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage pipeline and forecasting.
