Requirements

  • Significant back-end / API engineering experience, with excitement to dive deep into customers’ APIs and SDKs, and ability to lead in-depth technical deployments/implementations with customers and partners
  • Previously worked as a founding engineer, solutions engineer, or technical founder
  • Demonstrate exemplary customer empathy: ability to pragmatically connect customers’ goals with Speakeasy
  • Demonstrate high ownership/autonomy: rapidly learn what you don’t already know, naturally identify high impact/leverage areas, and drive successful customer outcomes
  • Manage multiple customer relationships and potentially competing priorities elegantly
  • Use customer learnings to influence the product roadmap and docs for constant improvement in customer experience
  • San Francisco Bay Area candidate (or willing to relocate); excited to work in the office 3-4 days per week

Responsibilities

  • Own the hands-on deployment of Speakeasy within key accounts
  • Unblock high-touch engagements autonomously
  • Serve as an escalation point for the broader pre-sales and post-sales engineering team
