Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or alternatively, have 5+ years of relevant work experience. A strong understanding of hardware, robotics, and/or automation solutions is required, along with proficiency in coding languages such as Python, Go, C++, or Javascript. Pre-sales experience of 4+ years is preferred.

Responsibilities

As a Solutions Engineer, you will assist the go-to-market team with sales pitches and product positioning, work closely with clients to onboard them onto the Viam platform and identify their needs, provide feedback to Software Engineers and Product Managers on platform performance and future features, and travel to client sites approximately 25% of the time to support pilot projects and proofs of concept.
