Requirements
Candidates should possess at least 3 years of experience in sales engineering, solutions architecture, or consulting within data operations, analytics, or BI, along with a solid technical background encompassing SQL, ETL, and data modeling. A firm understanding of modern data warehousing architectures is also required, alongside the ability to gather and translate technical and business requirements into concrete solutions, and excellent verbal, written, and in-person communication skills.
Responsibilities
The Solutions Architect will lead the evaluation, implementation, and adoption of dbt Cloud for large enterprise and commercial customers, working with them throughout their dbt Cloud journey from discovery to expansion. They will become an expert in designing enterprise-grade data pipelines in dbt Cloud, articulating business value, collaborating with customer contacts to secure approvals, partnering across departments to grow the dbt ecosystem, acting as the voice of the customer internally, aligning with strategic partners, and traveling up to 25% of the time. Furthermore, they will be an active member of the dbt community by publishing blogs and attending meetups.
