Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience, and a minimum of six years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, with a proven track record of delivering results in complex technical implementation projects and multi-party, multi-year digital transformation engagements. Experience in Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, application modernization, lakehouse implementations, or Cloud projects, including building real-time and batch data pipelines using Apache Spark and Apache NiFi is required. Familiarity with technologies such as Spark, Scala, Cloudera, Iceberg, Kafka, REST based API, and Machine Learning is desired.
As a Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional outcomes for customers during modernization projects, focusing on modern data architectures including lakehouses and streaming data. You will engage with customers to migrate from legacy data platforms, build modern data pipelines and lakehouse solutions on Snowflake, and act as the technical lead and expert throughout the process. Additionally, you will work with the internal team to provide requirements for the Snowconvert utility, develop best practices, ensure knowledge transfer, troubleshoot migration issues, create repeatable processes and documentation, optimize Snowflake for performance and cost, and design and implement solutions for streaming data ingestion and processing. You will also communicate requirements for product strategy, including Snowpark conversion and enhancements to the Snowflake Lakehouse capabilities.
