Candidates should possess 8+ years of industry experience in a pre-sales capacity with at least 2 years of direct line management experience, including hiring, training, and retaining top talent. They should have expertise in Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, and/or Cloud Computing, along with strong hands-on technical skills in Databases, Data Warehousing, ETL, and Analytics. A university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is preferred. Experience selling and positioning technology with associated business value to SLED customers is also preferred.
The Solution Engineering Manager will build and lead a team of SLED Solutions Engineers, serving as experts in product introduction, evaluation, implementation, and education. They will partner with sales leadership to achieve regional quota targets, provide guidance on sales strategy, and represent the team’s needs to executive staff. The role involves interpreting complex problems, creating solutions, collaborating with prospects and partners, delivering compelling presentations, and actively participating in sourcing and screening candidates. They will also maintain close relationships with product, engineering, sales, marketing, and services teams.
