Requirements
Candidates should have 7-8 years of industry experience with a minimum of 5 years in a pre-sales environment. Outstanding presenting skills to both technical and executive audiences are required, along with broad experience in large-scale Database and/or Data Warehouse technology, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies. Hands-on expertise with SQL, SQL analytics, and Python is necessary, along with the ability to connect customer business problems with Snowflake solutions. A university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields is preferred, with a Master's in Data Science or Business Administration considered a plus. Experience with GSIs such as EY, Deloitte, or Accenture would be beneficial but not required.
Responsibilities
The Senior Solution Engineer will present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors, work hands-on with prospects and customers throughout the sales cycle, and maintain a deep understanding of competitive technologies. They will collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake's products and marketing, and immerse themselves in the evolving industry to effectively position Snowflake.
