Candidates must have at least 2 years of architecture experience building, consulting to, or implementing Snowflake or other data technology solutions. Experience with technical and design direction, including large-scale database and/or data warehouse technology, ETL, analytics, and public cloud technologies is required. A strong understanding of Data Science & Machine Learning concepts and applications, familiarity with key sources of enterprise data and technologies, and excellent presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences are necessary. A Bachelor's Degree is required, with a Master's Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred. Knowledge of SQL and Python with hands-on experience is also mandatory. The ability to travel to customer sites and industry events is expected, along with adherence to company confidentiality and security standards for handling sensitive data.
The Solutions Architect will work with strategic customers, partnering with sales, marketing, product management, industry principals, and channel partners to create compelling solution offerings. They will identify industry trends, technical requirements, and gaps to partner with product management for prioritization. The role involves driving repeatability by creating technical selling assets such as reference architectures, use case solution points of view, demos, customer case studies, and solutions. Additionally, the Solutions Architect will enable the AE and SE communities of practice on industry trends, partner capabilities, and solution offerings. They will also scale knowledge internally and externally through technical blogs and field enablement, and maintain confidentiality and security standards for handling sensitive data.
