Requirements
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare IT, computer science, electronics engineering, or a related technical field, or have an additional 10 years of relevant experience. A minimum of 5 years of professional work experience is required, including independent design and development of software products or enhancements in a healthcare/clinical environment. Expertise in Cerner Patient Accounting, including configuration, analysis and development of current/future state workflows, and management of functional validation and end-user testing, is essential. Experience with the VA and Millennium on code levels 2018 or higher is preferred, as is knowledge of Cerner Model recommendations. The ability to identify and mitigate risks is also necessary.
Responsibilities
The Solution Advisor will provide Cerner expertise and knowledge transfer to VA stakeholders, supporting the translation of Cerner capabilities for VA understanding. Responsibilities include bringing VA solution experts up to speed, reviewing task orders and deliverables with Solution Management Administrators (SMAs), and assisting with current and future state workflow analysis and design. The role involves identifying workflow risks and pain points, managing trouble tickets and change requests, assisting with reporting requirements, and developing and supporting EHRM testing scripts and events. Additionally, the advisor will review and manage issues and risks with mitigation plans, collaborate with Oracle Health and VA on build/design/workflow changes, review training materials, and support cutover/go-live planning and post-go-live activities. The position also requires assisting with workplan development and providing solution knowledge expertise on Patient Accounting.
