Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of dedicated experience building and scaling data pipelines and data infrastructure
  • Cloud Experience: 2+ years of experience working with cloud-based infrastructure (primarily AWS and Databricks)
  • Programming Skills: Strong programming skills in Python or a similar language
  • Containerization: Experience with containerization and deployment using Docker
  • Workflow Orchestration: Hands-on experience developing and orchestrating workflows using Apache Airflow
  • Distributed Processing: Expertise in building and optimizing distributed data processing systems with Spark/PySpark
  • Database Knowledge: Working knowledge of OLAP and OLTP databases such as Clickhouse and Postgres
  • Security: Familiarity with security, controls, and access management for data systems

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and scale the infrastructure that powers Tatari’s data engineering, data science, and analytics efforts.
  • Implement industry standard data engineering practices and solutions.
  • Bring in new tools and technologies when necessary and scale current data infrastructure.
  • Contribute to a team environment, focusing on collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Nice to Have (Bonus Skills)

  • Experience deploying and managing open-source frameworks like Kafka, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm
  • Exposure to MLOps concepts, tooling, and practices
  • Experience setting up observability and monitoring for data platforms
  • Background in building cost-efficient, scalable cloud-native solutions
