Requirements

Candidates must possess at least three years of dedicated experience in building and scaling data pipelines and data infrastructure, along with two years of experience working with cloud-based infrastructure, primarily utilizing AWS and Databricks. Strong programming skills in Python or a similar language are required, alongside hands-on experience developing and orchestrating workflows using Apache Airflow and expertise in building and optimizing distributed data processing systems with Spark/PySpark. Familiarity with OLAP and OLTP databases such as Clickhouse and Postgres is also necessary, as is knowledge of security, controls, and access management for data systems.

Responsibilities

As a Data Platform Engineer, you will help level up Tatari’s data platform by designing, building, and scaling the infrastructure that powers data engineering, data science, and analytics efforts, contributing to industry standard data engineering practices and solutions, and bringing in new tools and technologies when necessary. You will also be responsible for doubling down efforts to scale current data infrastructure, and potentially deploying and managing open-source frameworks like Kafka, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm, as well as setting up observability and monitoring for data platforms.
