Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering, or have equivalent experience. A minimum of 15 years of experience as a senior technical individual contributor in mechanical, electrical, or automation systems is required, along with significant experience in partner-driven engineering development with AEC, MEP, and energy infrastructure stakeholders. Expertise in AI applications for infrastructure and data center ecosystems, and outstanding ability to align multi-disciplinary systems across diverse collaborator groups are essential. Excellent communication, facilitation, and critical thinking skills are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Distinguished Engineer will provide technical leadership for mechanical and electrical system designs in coordination with product requirements. They will be responsible for the strategic development and oversight of harmonized mechanical, electrical, and automation systems for AI-enabled data centers. This role involves collaborating with AEC and MEP partners to align development priorities, technical standards, and integrated engineering solutions, as well as advancing engineering environments for development, testing, and validation. The engineer will provide strategic direction and integration oversight for energy generation initiatives, collaborate with Technical Program Management (TPM) programs, and offer deep technical guidance to partner engineering teams. Responsibilities also include facilitating teamwork across various groups to accelerate innovation and integration, participating in site selection reviews, and anticipating new technologies and market shifts for long-term strategy.
