Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and have at least 3 years of experience in architecting distributed systems. Proficiency in Python and SQL or SparkSQL is essential, along with experience in data stores like Icerberg, Trino, BigQuery, StarRocks, or Citus. Familiarity with data pipeline tools such as Airflow or DBT, data processing technologies like Spark, Kafka, or Flink, and cloud deployment tools including Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes, or Datadog is also required.
The Software Engineer will build reliable data services for blockchain integration, develop complex ETL pipelines for real-time data transformation, and design intricate data models for efficient querying. Responsibilities include overseeing the deployment and monitoring of large database clusters with a focus on performance and high availability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement data models that enhance products.
