Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to develop software systems supporting real-time servers. This role involves designing data models and communication protocols for collaborative document services, administering the software development lifecycle, creating performance testing tools, and monitoring cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Develop software systems to support real-time servers using C++ programming language.
• Develop data models and communication protocols for collaborative document services using Protobuf and Json.
• Administer the continuous process of software development, integration, and deployment utilizing Jenkins, Gitlab, and related tools.
• Develop a performance test tool and perform tests using the tool.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud services using logging and monitoring tools.

Requirements

• Education: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, a related field, or a foreign equivalent.
• Experience:
  • 1 year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • 1 year of experience in C++.
  • 1 year of experience in API design and implementation.
  • 1 year of experience in Java.
  • 1 year of experience in MySQL.
• Travel: Position does not require domestic or international travel.

Compensation

• Salary Range: $141,750.00 - $186,000.00
• Total Direct Compensation: In addition to base salary and/or OTE, Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that considers base salary, bonus, and equity value.
• Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. Location-based compensation structures may apply, potentially resulting in different ranges for candidates in various locations.
