Requirements

Candidates must have 1-3 years of professional software design and application development experience, with at least 1 year of back-end web application development. Strong experience developing high-performance and scalable web services using C# is required, along with experience in both relational (PostgreSQL) and graph databases (Neo4j). Excellent communication and writing skills are necessary, and candidates must be authorized to work and reside in the United States. A desire to embody core values of passionate curiosity, consistent improvement, empathy, sustainability, humility, and empowerment through transparency is also a requirement. A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, experience with large-scale enterprise products, familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), Python, front-end technologies (React, Typescript), contributing to open-source projects, and experience in penetration testing or administering Active Directory/Azure are considered nice to haves.

Responsibilities

The Associate Client Services Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain high-performance REST APIs and other web services. They will collaborate with front-end developers and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration, implement security best-practices, and optimize database queries for optimal performance. The role also involves participating in code reviews, identifying and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks, system failures, and bugs.
