Requirements

Candidates must possess 12+ years of IT experience, with at least 8 years specifically focused on Microsoft Azure cloud technologies, demonstrating strong knowledge of Azure services such as Compute, Storage, Networking, AKS, Azure Functions, and related areas. Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python, or Bash is required, along with expertise in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools like Azure DevOps and Jenkins. A deep understanding of cloud security, identity and access management (IAM), and compliance frameworks is essential, as is experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration platforms (AKS, Azure Container Registry).

Responsibilities

The Senior Azure Engineer will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions. They will develop and implement cloud-native applications, microservices, and serverless architectures, optimizing cloud environments for performance, cost-efficiency, and security. The role also involves integrating Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, release management, and automation tasks, monitoring and troubleshooting cloud resources, collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing security best practices, mentoring junior team members, and conducting technical reviews to ensure quality and consistency.
