Candidates should possess at least 7 years of experience in cloud operations, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or management role, demonstrating deep expertise in Azure and GCP, including experience with multi-cloud environments. Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation is required, along with familiarity with container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes and Docker, and experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation. Strong knowledge of monitoring and observability tools like Datadog, Grafana, or Splunk, coupled with proven ability to implement and optimize incident detection, response, and resolution, is also necessary. Furthermore, a solid understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks, along with scripting skills in languages like Python or Bash, and relevant cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Administrator are preferred.
As a Senior DevOps Manager, you will lead and mentor the CloudOps engineering team, fostering a culture of reliability, growth, and accountability, while managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure across Azure and GCP to ensure high availability and scalability. You will collaborate with development, engineering, and customer success teams to align cloud operations with business goals, implement and refine automated monitoring, alerting, and incident response workflows, oversee change management processes, and drive automation initiatives across deployment pipelines, monitoring systems, and operational tasks. Finally, you will ensure adherence to cloud security standards and practices.
