Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and have extensive hands-on experience (5-7 years) with the Azure cloud platform, demonstrating a proven track record of leading complex cloud projects. They should also have 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Policy, Microsoft Defender, Azure Networking, Application Gateway, Azure Bastion, Azure DDoS protection, Front Door and Key Vault, as well as 4+ years of hands-on experience with SQL Server Managed Instance, Azure SQL, Azure Functions, Azure Backup, App Services, Azure Site Recovery, AKS, Azure Blob Storage and Disk Storage.

Responsibilities

The Azure Cloud Engineer will be responsible for deploying and configuring cloud environments, ensuring they are automated, efficient, and resilient, while also driving the adoption of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform and Ansible. They will implement and refine CI/CD pipelines to streamline cloud service delivery, implement robust cloud security frameworks, conduct regular security assessments and audits, collaborate with the security team to integrate advanced security measures, monitor and analyze cloud system performance, develop strategies for efficient cloud resource management, lead efforts to optimize cloud spending, and execute post-incident reviews with lessons learned applied to improve processes.
