Experience designing and operating large-scale, distributed systems and platform services, specifically auth and email services, is required. Strong communication skills, including the ability to discuss complex technical concepts with both engineers and non-engineers, are necessary. Candidates should demonstrate strong ownership and a bias for action, proactively driving projects from initiation to completion and leading cross-functional initiatives while maintaining stakeholder transparency. The ability to write understandable, testable code with an emphasis on maintainability is also required, along with a proactive and empathetic mindset focused on solving customer problems.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will drive developer productivity through the creation of shared libraries, internal tools, and platform services. You will design and build secure, reliable, and scalable systems with a focus on user and customer needs, writing clean, well-tested code that is easy to maintain and facilitates observability. You will hold high standards for code quality through code reviews and efficient processes, mentor other engineers, and elevate the productivity of the engineering team. You will collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to define and uphold a high standard of engineering excellence, take ownership of the service lifecycle—from architecture through deployment and support, and continuously improve engineering tools, infrastructure, and deployment pipelines.
