About the Role:

We are looking for an Architect to join our development team. The successful candidate will be dedicated to defining and building our web application, working closely with Product Management and the Altium platform architecture team.

A Day in The Life of Our Software Architect:

• Continuously review and update product architecture as needed to align with the product roadmap.
• Design, develop, and execute software solutions to address business requirements.
• Document and record every aspect of an application or software.
• Create a plan for migrating the Part Analytics application to the Altium product.
• Leverage available technologies like cloud, automation, AI/ML to deliver state-of-the-art solutions to our customers.
• Engage with customers and external partners as needed to support business priorities.
• Mentor tech leads and senior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.

Who you are and what you’ll need for this position:

• 10+ years of experience in software development with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an architectural leadership role.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to manage issue resolution, including identification of issues, developing a resolution plan, and executing necessary changes.
• Experience with backend (Node.js, PostgreSQL, and Python) and modern front-end (AngularJS) frameworks.
• Experience using Source Control such as Github.
• Proven experience designing and scaling B2B SaaS platforms on AWS.
• Deep understanding of multi-tenancy, API-first design, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with compliance standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR).
• Experience integrating AI/ML models into production SaaS environments.
• Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, Kinesis).
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional is a plus.
