Requirements

Candidates must possess over 10 years of software development experience, including at least 3 years in an architectural leadership role. Required skills include excellent communication and stakeholder engagement, issue management, experience with backend technologies (Node.js, PostgreSQL, Python) and modern front-end frameworks (AngularJS), proficiency with source control like Github, and proven experience designing and scaling B2B SaaS platforms on AWS. A deep understanding of multi-tenancy, API-first design, and CI/CD pipelines is essential, along with familiarity with compliance standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR. Experience integrating AI/ML models into production SaaS environments, strong knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code, and experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, Kinesis) are also necessary. AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Software Architect will define and build the company's web application in close collaboration with Product Management and the Altium platform architecture team. Responsibilities include continuously reviewing and updating product architecture to align with the product roadmap, designing and executing software solutions to meet business requirements, and documenting all aspects of the application. The architect will also create a migration plan for the Part Analytics application to the Altium product, leverage technologies like cloud, automation, and AI/ML for customer solutions, engage with customers and external partners, and mentor tech leads and senior engineers to foster technical excellence and innovation.
