Candidates must possess a BA/BS degree or equivalent experience and have a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience in social media and influencer marketing, either agency or client-side. A strong understanding of India's short-form video ecosystem, including influencers and cutting-edge social marketing trends, is essential. Proficiency in project management, marketing execution across various channels and markets, and a good track record of creativity and data-driven optimization in social media are required. The ability to manage multiple projects, complex budgets, and campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced environment is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Social & Influencer Marketing Manager will own the YouTube Shorts social marketing mandate, overseeing Go-To-Market strategy and influencer campaign management. This includes briefing and collaborating with agency partners to ensure timely delivery of projects and developing Go-To-Market strategies for social marketing activations involving owned, allied, and partner social channels. The role involves working closely with external partners to align plans, informing internal teams of social media trends and potential brand crises, and implementing paid media to drive reach. Community management with a focus on engagement opportunities and fostering conversations between YouTube and users is key. Additionally, the manager will develop strategies for influencer recruitment and optimization, maintain good relationships with influencer and talent management agencies, and collaborate with internal YouTube marketing, business, and APAC social teams. Responsibilities also include analyzing initiative successes and failures, socializing learnings, continuously optimizing influencer plans based on feedback and results, and ensuring YouTube India social is at the forefront of topicality in the Indian social media ecosystem.
