Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in a CloudOps/DevOps role and strong experience with AWS, with Azure/IBM Cloud being a plus. Required skills include scripting/automation (Python, Bash), CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/K8s), Linux/Windows servers, monitoring, logging, DNS, VPN, and SQL databases. Experience managing production incidents and supporting client-facing systems is necessary. Advanced English communication skills and the ability to work remotely in Mexico are mandatory.
The Cloud Operations Engineer will manage and improve cloud infrastructure and services, automate operations for reliability and scale, and support deployments, releases, and service enhancements. Responsibilities also include leading incident response and root cause analysis, collaborating globally, and adjusting to rotating coverage schedules. The role involves mastering service request workflows, monitoring and tuning application infrastructure, and automating application configuration changes, setup, and deployment. Long-term duties include becoming a subject matter expert in support workflows, documenting and implementing enhancements, participating in technical discussions for new projects, and proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement.
