Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or a related role, along with proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, including experience with EC2, RDS, VPCs, and security groups. Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker, including deployment, scaling, and management is required.
As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain the systems and infrastructure that power PayNearMe's applications, ensuring their reliability, scalability, and performance. You will automate processes, continuously improve the infrastructure and tools, and monitor system performance and application health. You will define and maintain Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence. Additionally, you will work with development teams, provide technical support, participate in on-call rotations, implement security best practices, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and capacity planning.
