Candidates should possess 5+ years of experience in IAM operations, with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Okta environments, including SSO, MFA, and Workflows. Strong understanding of identity protocols like SAML, OAuth, and OIDC is required, along with experience with Active Directory and Azure AD. Proficiency in PowerShell or Python scripting and REST APIs is also necessary.
As an IAM Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the Okta environment for 12,000+ users, configuring and maintaining 1Password, developing Okta Workflows for automation, supporting RBAC implementation, implementing MFA solutions, integrating identity systems with enterprise applications, troubleshooting authentication issues, and participating in on-call rotation for identity services. You will also contribute to security and compliance efforts, implement identity security controls, support compliance requirements, monitor identity systems, and assist with access reviews and certifications.
