Serve Robotics is reimagining urban logistics with our personable sidewalk robot. We're building the future of delivery, taking it away from congested streets and benefiting local businesses. We’re seeking a DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer to help us develop data platform capabilities and tools, enabling us to collect and process data from our robot fleet and cloud services. You’ll play a key role in streamlining our software development lifecycle and ensuring efficient and reliable code delivery. You’ll work closely with software engineers, developing documentation, training, and evangelizing our cloud management tools.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years experience in a similar role.
  • GCP Expertise: 3+ years of infrastructure development experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Terraform: Hands-on experience with infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: 3+ years of building and managing CI/CD pipelines and monitoring systems.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Design & Maintenance: Design and maintain scalable infrastructure for our data platform, ensuring performance, reliability, and security.
  • Automation: Automate deployment and provisioning using CI/CD pipelines.
  • Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance to ensure high availability and minimal downtime.
  • Collaboration: Work with other teams to continuously improve and automate processes, minimizing toil in deploying and maintaining cloud services.
  • On-Call Rotation: Participate in the on-call rotation for critical infrastructure.
  • Tooling & Training: Help develop documentation and training material for our core cloud management tools and best practices.
  • Architecture Influence: Influence architecture and infrastructure decisions within the broader engineering organization.
