Candidates should possess a strong understanding of Windows kernel and user space, a passion for continuous learning in cybersecurity, and a creative mindset for designing new code validation methods. Experience with C++, Python, and DSLs is required, along with the ability to take ownership and be a self-starter.
The SDET will work closely with detection engineers to maintain a culture of high product quality, analyze complex software features, and build effective test strategies. Responsibilities include extending the codebase with C++, Python, and DSLs to improve testability and debuggability, writing specialized tests for system quality, performance, and scalability, and debugging product issues to identify root causes. The role also involves collaborating with product and release management, participating in code reviews, and engaging in engineering best practices such as secure coding and CI/CD.
