Requirements

  • BA/BS or MS degree in Life Sciences or closely related field, PhD preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in Life Science sales or a related area
  • Strong technical background in molecular biology or cell biology
  • Comfortable presenting to and interacting with Executives
  • Strong desire to win business and establish long term customer relationships

Responsibilities

  • Ensure achievement of designated AMR Sub-Regional commercial objectives
  • Coordinate commercial strategy to achieve revenue targets
  • Develop customer relationships and drive strategic deals
  • Primary liaison to entire Sub-regional commercial team for Single Cell and Spatial
  • Single point of accountability for Sub-regional sales strategy for Multiomics
  • Significant input into the sub-regional forecast and annual revenue plan
  • Keep Sub-regional GM and Head of Region apprised of status of achievement of goals
  • Create and maintain effective working relationships with internal customers and product development groups
  • Provide feedback from customers and sales to R&D and other relevant groups
  • Present at workshops, conventions, seminar series and other marketing activities
  • Collaborate with Illumina Business Development team when necessary
