Requirements

Candidates should have proven experience as a Sales Director, Regional Manager, or similar leadership role with a track record of exceeding sales targets. Industry experience selling to ML engineers, data scientists, or data engineers is required, along with strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with CRM software and sales analytics tools, as well as strong negotiation and closing skills, are also necessary. Experience building and managing high-performing teams who drive complex, multi-persona, highly-technical sales, preferably using the Command of the Message framework, is highly desired. Ability to travel as needed within the region is also a requirement.

Responsibilities

The Regional Sales Director will lead and manage the sales team and sales operations within the SF Bay Area and beyond. They will develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth, champion the Command of the Message sales methodology, and sell the Anyscale platform's value. This role involves acting as a player-coach, analyzing market trends, recruiting and mentoring the sales team, setting expectations, providing coaching, and building strong client relationships. The Director will also serve as a primary point of contact for major accounts, partner with internal teams for sales growth initiatives, and prepare sales performance reports for leadership.
