Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and SAP data entry
  • Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience
  • Preferred 1 year of experience as MTM 2
  • Proven ability to instruct individuals and groups in various learning techniques and obtain desired training results
  • Meets productivity standards; works quickly; completes work in timely manner
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Good organizational skills with ability to work with attention to detail and follow up well
  • Or any equivalent combination of education and experience to meet position requirements
  • Possession of certifications in training and/or leadership a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-the-job training and skills evaluations for teammates in production and warehousing operations
  • Work with HR Specialist, Shift Trainer Lead, MTM 3, and Department Leads to execute training schedule on time with accurate documentation
  • Provide skill evaluations, skill gap analysis, training effectiveness feedback, and recommend updates to improve outcomes
  • Provide feedback to Supervision for performance reviews
  • Observe safety and security procedures and determine appropriate action beyond guidelines
  • Support company Quality Policy, Mission Statement, and ISO Quality System
  • Provide timely training and skill evaluations per standard operating procedures
  • Analyze jobs with HR Generalist, Department Manager/HR Manager, and Shift Trainer Lead to identify required tasks/skills
  • Conduct SOP, visual aids, and work instruction training
  • Update and maintain all training records
  • Evaluate and monitor new teammates' training progress through follow-up observations and evaluations at 30, 60, and 90 days
  • Provide training based on training request forms
  • Participate in Training Review Board activities
  • Assist with new product launch and pilot runs, ensuring proper teammate training
  • Provide backfill for training duties of MTM 3 and Department Leads
  • Able to lead a production line
  • Perform additional duties as directed
