Customer service experience: 1 year in a retail or restaurant environment
Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays
Must meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling, and health & safety guidelines

Responsibilities

Deliver legendary customer service to all customers
Discover and respond to customer needs
Maintain a customer comes first attitude
Execute store operations during scheduled shifts
Organize opening and closing duties as assigned
Follow Starbucks operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security
Follow all cash management and cash register policies and ensure proper cash management practices are followed
Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of Starbucks
Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events
Anticipate customer and store needs by constantly evaluating the environment and customers
Communicate information to manager so that the team can respond as necessary to create the Third Place environment
Assist with new partner training by positively reinforcing performance and providing respectful coaching
Provide feedback to store manager on partner performance during shift
Recognize alarms or changes in partner morale and performance and communicate them to the store manager
Develop positive relationships with shift team by understanding and addressing individual motivation and needs
Utilize operational tools to achieve operational excellence
Create a positive learning environment by providing clear, specific, timely, and respectful coaching and feedback to partners
Ensure operational excellence and improve partner performance
