Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Communications, Library and Information Science, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent experience. They should have proven experience in SharePoint content management (SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint 2016/2019), a strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, libraries, workflows, and metadata, and experience in user training and stakeholder engagement. Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or SharePoint Framework (SPFx) is helpful, and experience with Power Automate is considered a plus.
The SharePoint Intranet Specialist will review and improve existing SharePoint intranet sites, libraries, and content structures, working with stakeholders to oversee the creation and review of content. They will devise best practices and guides for document management and site governance, implementing these practices with stakeholders. The role involves training and supporting users in content management and SharePoint functionalities, monitoring and analyzing SharePoint usage to improve efficiency and engagement, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with IT teams for enhancements. Additionally, the Specialist will ensure compliance with company policies, security standards, and data governance, and suggest modifications or enhancements needed on the site.
