Candidates should possess strong professional assessment writing and/or editing experience, along with professional experience in developing instructional content to abide by accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1AA). Experience in education, particularly former teaching experience, is a plus, and experience working with educational publishers is also a beneficial asset.
The Assessment Content Accessibility Specialist will independently and collaboratively review and revise test content for accessibility compliance, paying close attention to internal deadlines, and supply age-appropriate alt text for images used in assessment items, focusing on K-2 development. They will also revise items for content accessibility compliance and work with the assessment content team to ensure test items meet accessibility standards.
