  • Trade qualified in a mechanical and/or electrical fitting environment, preferably with a diesel leaning

Responsibilities

  • Service Xylem customers in the field, traveling to various sites across the Goldfields Region
  • Repair Xylem equipment (primarily Godwin diesel pump sets) in the field and workshop
  • Carry out duties within the workshop when not required to attend to field service
  • Coordinate workloads with Service Supervisor
  • Manage a service vehicle
  • Communicate directly with customers to recommend improvements, upgrades, and solutions
  • Train and support other employees
  • Liaise with manager to provide direction and support to the team
  • Prepare service reports and updates
  • Inspect and test products prior to dispatch to customers
  • Carry out on-site servicing of Xylem products and emergency work on pumping and associated equipment on customer sites
