Requirements

Knowledge of gas internal combustion engine generator sets, including mechanical, electrical, and gas systems
Proficiency in using testing instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and pressure sensors
Ability to conduct visual inspections for deformations, cracks, leaks, and label integrity
Skills in monitoring and analyzing performance parameters (e.g., voltage, current, gas pressure, oil pressure, coolant temperature)
Experience in fault diagnosis using methods like fault tree analysis
Expertise in repairing mechanical components (e.g., crankshaft, connecting rods, pistons, piston rings)
Capability to repair or replace cooling system components (e.g., radiator, cooling fan, coolant pipes)
Understanding of safety and performance standards for equipment installation and maintenance
Professional knowledge and experience for accurate root cause identification and troubleshooting

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough visual inspections of generator set exteriors, including casing, piping, valves, connectors, and labels
Monitor key performance parameters in real-time using testing instruments and compare against normal ranges
Analyze operational data records (e.g., running time, start-stop frequency, fault alarms) to assess trends and predict faults
Diagnose equipment faults accurately, including common issues like reduced power output or failure to start
Perform mechanical component repairs or replacements (e.g., crankshaft, connecting rods, pistons, piston rings) following technical specifications
Repair or replace cooling system components to ensure proper function
Ensure safety and performance standards during installation and maintenance of equipment
