Valon is a FinTech company focused on empowering homeowners through mortgage servicing technology. The Investor Reporting team is responsible for reporting mortgage data and funds to investors. This role involves daily and monthly reporting, reconciliation, and assisting with process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Complete daily and monthly reporting for investors within Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Perform reconciliation, root cause analysis, and resolution of daily rejects or edits between Valon’s servicing platform and investor expectations.
  • Review and remit funds to investors and clients within SLAs.
  • Assist in the completion of client billing on a monthly basis.
  • Execute and problem-solve in day-to-day operations for Investor Reporting.
  • Collaborate with other servicing departments in building or improving cross-departmental tasks.
  • Assist with audits by providing required documentation or research as requested.
  • Provide feedback on existing processes and process changes to improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering teams to implement new products or improvements.
  • Scope upcoming changes from the GSEs and determine impacts on system and operational processes.
