Requirements

Candidates should have 10+ years of experience leading critical projects in client-side or C++ infrastructure environments, with deep hands-on C++ development experience. The role requires working in North American time zones with at least 4 hours of overlap with the Eastern Time Zone.

Responsibilities

The Senior Staff Software Engineer will scope and spearhead technical projects across client, browser, and OS layers. They will support the infrastructure and architecture enabling Dia's core features, primarily using Swift but also C++ and Chromium. Responsibilities include designing APIs, investing in observability, tooling, stability, and performance, contributing directly to the Chromium codebase, and taking ownership of key infrastructure areas. The engineer will also participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and efforts to improve engineering best practices.
