Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, marketing automation, or other strategic marketing roles
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with marketing automation technology (e.g., Braze, Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, etc.)
  • Thoughtful, creative, and critical thinker with a systematic approach to problem-solving
  • Strong understanding of customer/lifecycle marketing strategies, email marketing best practices, leveraging & activating customer data, targeting & treatment patterns

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day execution of lifecycle marketing campaigns (building templates, audiences, deployment, testing, reporting)
  • Work closely with product marketing partners to develop and drive hyper-personalized omnichannel (email/ push/ in-app/ web & SMS) programs
  • Partner with leadership to brainstorm quarterly lifecycle strategies that align with business objectives, product roadmaps, key performance goals, and strategic initiatives
  • Ideate & experiment on lifecycle strategies/tactics to drive activation, retention, engagement, and cross-sell of users within Wealthsimple’s product ecosystem (e.g., promotions, incentives)
  • Act as a dedicated SME to one or more business units; be the steward of lifecycle strategy and campaign performance for your assigned product(s)
  • Become a thought leader in lifecycle marketing, influencing go-to-market strategies and advocating for best-in-class customer experiences through comprehensive briefs and strategic use of various channel mixes across Wealthsimple’s product ecosystem
  • Collaborate with data scientists & analysts to assess campaign and program performance; proactively surface data-informed opportunities for experimentation, personalization, or improvement; regularly report on program impact, client behaviors, and experimental results/learnings
  • Partner with lifecycle leadership to drive process improvements, create reusable playbooks, champion marketing automation best practices and leverage AI to drive efficiencies
