Candidates should have extensive sales engineering or solution architect experience in a SaaS environment or relevant industry experience, particularly in analytics, data science, or data engineering. Experience working with large, global customer accounts in the Healthcare vertical is essential. A proven track record of delivering technical wins and maintaining strong customer relationships is required, along with outstanding presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences. Candidates must have an understanding of data architecture, data analytics, and cloud technology, as well as hands-on experience with SQL and the ability to solve customer-specific business problems using Snowflake's solutions.
The Senior Solution Engineer will work directly with the Global Accounts sales team and channel partners to understand customer needs and strategize support during evaluations. They will present Snowflake’s technology and vision to executives and technical contributors, demonstrate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle, and create technical champions within accounts. This role involves collaborating with other sales engineers, Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake’s offerings, representing Snowflake at industry events, and working with ecosystem and implementation partners to develop joint architectures and account strategies.
