Requirements

Candidates should possess at least 4 years of hands-on experience in ETL or database testing, with strong SQL skills across platforms like Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL. Experience testing both SQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, validating datasets within cloud data warehouses like Google BigQuery, and familiarity with data warehouses and ETL concepts are required. Programming experience in Java or TypeScript is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Test Engineer will participate in "3 Amigos" sessions, review user stories, and provide test estimates. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and executing test plans for database applications, verifying data mapping and transformation logic, and writing complex SQL queries to ensure data accuracy. The role involves validating data across SQL and NoSQL databases, testing cloud-based data platforms like Google BigQuery, and participating in root cause analysis for data issues. Additionally, the engineer will log, track, and retest defects, create test data and environments, conduct exploratory and non-functional test automation, capture quality metrics, support production releases, and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
