Requirements

Candidates must possess 5+ years of experience in software QA, with a focus on manual and performance testing, and have experience in both manual and automation testing. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is required. Experience in the healthcare industry, including knowledge of healthcare standards and regulations like HIPAA and HL7, is necessary. Proficiency in manual testing techniques, methodologies, and experience with Test Management tools such as Jira Zephyr or QTest are essential. Candidates should also have experience with both front-end and back-end web technologies (HTTP, AJAX, XML, Javascript, CSS), familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA, proficiency in Oracle SQL, and an understanding of database concepts. Experience with Oracle tools like SQL Developer and Linux operating systems, including command-line proficiency and shell scripting, is also required. Familiarity with ETL processes and being a Certified AWS Cloud Practitioner is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software QA Test Engineer will lead projects, design and develop test cases, and conduct tests on multiple platforms, incorporating automation tests into the build process. They will perform mobile, web, and desktop testing, including test planning, execution, and reporting of product status. The role involves creating test plans following the test strategy, analyzing system design, and designing, documenting, and executing test automation frameworks. Responsibilities include communicating test results and issues to technical and non-technical team members, mentoring Test Engineers and Vendors, and working within an Agile development environment. The engineer will also coordinate integrated testing activities, develop and execute comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules, write simple SQL queries, and read multiple system input/output files like XML, JSON, Flat, 834, and 835. Collaboration with business analysts, business SMEs, and developers to build detailed test cases is also a key responsibility.
