Requirements

The ideal candidate possesses over 5 years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or infrastructure-focused engineering, with a specialization in ETL, APIs, and cloud-native orchestration. Proficiency in Python, API-based ETL (REST, GraphQL, Webhooks), SQL, BigQuery, orchestration frameworks like Airflow or Prefect, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud infrastructure (GCP/AWS), and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation) is essential. Experience implementing authentication flows is also required.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will design and implement scalable data pipelines for data ingestion and transformation, engineer the underlying infrastructure including containerized workloads and CI/CD, and build/maintain APIs for secure, tenant-aware data integrations. Responsibilities include balancing event-driven and batch processing architectures, implementing observability and monitoring for system health and data quality, and contributing to platform resilience through fault tolerance and autoscaling. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration platform is flexible and extensible, and onboarding new data sources.
