Requirements

Candidates should possess experience shipping in production environments and leading projects, along with strong distributed system instincts and design skills. They should also have experience in or a desire to learn Rust, demonstrate the ability to lead cross-functional projects, and exhibit a growth mindset with a continuous desire to learn and improve. An interest in fintech and the payments space is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will lead the development of new card and account opening lifecycle features, including card issuance, tokenization, physical card manufacturing, KYB/KYC, and document collection applications. They will own initiatives from planning to launch, keeping stakeholders informed, ensuring high reliability and availability for Lithic’s API, orchestrating cross-functional teamwork, providing expertise to bring industry best practices to APIs, and leading efforts to improve systems and processes within the team. Furthermore, they will participate in the team’s on-call rotation.
