Requirements

Candidates should have at least 8 years of relevant experience, including architecting, designing, and developing highly scalable and performant backend services. Proficiency in a major programming language such as Go, Java, or C/C++ is required, along with experience working on Kubernetes and public clouds like AWS, GCP, and Azure. Familiarity with Kafka, streaming, SaaS platform development, and designing distributed systems in the cloud is necessary. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills with attention to detail are essential. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience, is also required.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer II will build accurate, reliable, scalable, and functionally rich systems in the cloud to support usage-based billing and pricing. This role involves working on business-critical flows from ideation to completion, collaborating closely with Product Managers and other engineering and business teams. The engineer will also be responsible for running production services in public clouds, focusing on quality, accuracy, and operational excellence, and troubleshooting technical issues across various services and technical stacks.
