Requirements

Candidates should have senior-level professional development experience with Go and associated tooling, along with deep experience working with Linux. Excellent technical communication and collaboration skills are required, including the ability to clearly communicate complex technical topics, communicate with leadership, and engage with customers. Experience designing, building, and maintaining API services and datastores, as well as developing and shipping software in a cloud-native, customer-facing infrastructure, is essential. Proven ability to create and deliver impactful contributions, both independently and collaboratively, is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will work with product managers, designers, engineers, and customers to iterate features from prototype to general availability. They will work across the entire product lifecycle, including design, development, documentation, testing, integration, deployment, and support. Responsibilities include mentoring and being mentored, engaging directly with customers to understand needs and identify innovation opportunities, and collaborating with teammates to deliver solutions. The role also involves participating in weekly support and on-call rotations, and contributing to and championing a culture of quality and testing, guiding less experienced team members.
