Candidates should possess 5-7 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, software engineering, or systems engineering, along with proficiency in at least one programming language such as Go, Python, Java, C#, or Rust. They should have hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and a solid understanding of networking and web technologies. Strong familiarity with CI/CD tooling and practices, as well as experience with infrastructure-as-code and observability tools, is required.
The Senior Site Reliability Engineer will design and develop high-quality systems and automation tools to enhance reliability, performance, and developer velocity, debug and review code and infrastructure issues, own and improve CI/CD pipelines and monitoring practices, participate in on-call rotations and handle incidents and post-mortems, mentor junior engineers, contribute to architectural reviews and cross-team guilds, collaborate with Engineering Managers and Product Managers to plan and deliver scalable systems, ensure technical designs align with product strategy, and take initiative to fix or flag issues before they become problems. They will also help raise the bar by evangelizing best practices and collaborating with a wide network of engineers and teams.
