Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and have at least 3 years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps role. Strong experience with automation tools and scripting languages is required, as well as a solid understanding of cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS or Azure. Experience with monitoring tools like DataDog is also preferred.

Responsibilities

The Site Reliability Engineer will partner with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to understand system requirements and communicate reliability best practices. They will lead incident response efforts, facilitate root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvements post-incident, maintaining composure under pressure and bringing teams together during critical moments. The SRE will identify opportunities to reduce manual work by building and maintaining internal tools and automation pipelines, leveraging DataDog to enhance system visibility and improve alerting strategies. Furthermore, they will develop and maintain documentation including runbooks and service readiness guides to support operational excellence, and collaborate to ensure the overall health of production environments.
