Candidates should have 8+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in a high growth startup environment. Expertise in Google Cloud Platform and Google Kubernetes Engine is required, along with strong observability and monitoring experience using tools such as Chronosphere, Sentry, DataDog, Splunk, Otel, or Prometheus. A collaborative mindset and the ability to communicate complex technical problems effectively are essential. Experience with performance optimization and a self-motivated attitude are also necessary, as well as the ability to thrive in a remote-first organization.
The Senior Software Engineer II will develop and maintain infrastructure and systems to support Dandy’s products in a secure and performant way. They will reinvent analog experiences through scalable system design and collaborate with Product Engineers and other stakeholders to ensure high quality in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, they will advocate for improvements to infrastructure quality, craft code that adheres to internal standards, and identify and propose solutions for technical debt.
