This role focuses on automation, performance, and reliability, helping us streamline operations and build smarter cloud-native solutions that enable developer self-service within a fast-paced Healthcare IT company that is truly Modernizing Medicine!

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Cloud/Site Reliability Engineering.
  • Strong AWS expertise, including security, performance tuning, and cost management.
  • Hands-on experience with DataDog, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.
  • Proficiency in automation & scripting (Python, Bash).
  • Solid grasp of networking, cloud security, and data protection standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage AWS infrastructure to ensure security, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Improve monitoring & observability using DataDog for proactive issue detection.
  • Empower developers by standardizing and commoditizing infrastructure, making it available via self-service methods like GitOps, APIs, UIs, etc.
  • Enhance CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Github and AWS services for smooth deployments.
  • Lead containerization efforts with Kubernetes to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Optimize cloud performance by tuning resources for better speed and cost savings.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues quickly across AWS environments.
  • Implement security best practices to meet compliance and data protection standards.
  • Stay up-to-date on cloud technologies and recommend improvements.
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of learning and collaboration.
  • Work cross-functionally to build AWS-based solutions that meet business needs.
