Candidates should possess extensive experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), a strong background in DevOps practices, and expertise in CI/CD tools. A strong AWS background, specifically around scaled AWS Lambda-based, data-centric infrastructures, is essential. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation is also required.
The Senior DevOps Engineer will design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure as code deployments, ensuring the scalability, security, and reliability of cloud-based applications. Responsibilities include collaborating with development, operations, and security teams to automate workflows and improve system performance, supporting and developing software using AWS stacks, and leading the evolution of the CI/CD pipeline, branching, and release strategies. The role also involves supporting the drive towards automated testing, designing, deploying, and managing scalable, secure, and reliable AWS cloud infrastructure, monitoring and managing EC2 instances and other services like RDS and ECS, and optimizing cloud resources for cost-effectiveness and performance.
