Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 5 years in the industry and US Citizenship. Required experience includes AWS CDK, EC2, Docker/Kubernetes, TCP Networking, GitLab, CodeCommit, CodeDeploy, Cloudwatch, Security Scanning and automation, Postgres/RDS/Aurora, Amazon OpenSearch, FedRAMP/NIST-800, GovCloud deployment and operations, FIPS-140-2, NodeJS/TypeScript, supporting GraphQL applications, Bash, and Infrastructure as Code. The ability to learn Node/Typescript and Rust is also necessary.
The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for the continuous improvement and operation of the company's FedRAMP-high compliant AWS GovCloud infrastructure. They will play an integral role in rolling out infrastructure improvements, advocating for best practices, and engaging in security, automation, and observability initiatives. Responsibilities also include improving and maintaining the developer team's infrastructure tooling to ensure painless testing and deployments, and utilizing coding skills for automation and operational tooling.
